The Restaurant at the Guildford Institute

(The Restaurant is currently closed for a short summer break and will re-open on Monday 6 September.)

Delicious and very popular vegetarian lunches are served from Monday to Friday (12-2pm) and on the first Saturday of the month (in term-time) in the Beano Restaurant in the Assembly Room and Ladies Room (Exhibitions are also held in the Assembly Room.) Over 50 people a day lunch at the Institute.

The Beano Restaurant is one of Guildford's best kept secrets. To paraphrase The Vegetarian Society's review:

“This very special veggie restaurant welcomes its very regular and faithful customers and Guildford's Saturday shoppers serving a large selection of home made and tasty veggie (and vegan) dishes, salads and yummy desserts. Everything is homemade and very reasonably priced. The only totally vegetarian restaurant in Guildford.”
