Overview

During Queen Elizabeth II’s seventy-year reign, there have been seven Poet Laureates.  We will look at some poems written by post-holders for important national events and see how tastes have changed over the 70 years.  Hopefully, there will also be a new poem from the current Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage.

Copies of the poems will be provided.
