Overview

Mars, the “red planet”, has long fascinated humanity. In this day school we shall explore how our theories of the nature of Mars have changed from the first telescopic observations to the first landings on Mars in the 1970’s, culminating in the astonishing Viking missions, which revealed Mars as a complex world we could explore and compare to Earth.

This is a repeat course.
