Guildford Institute and Guildford Arts are joining together to present local artist, Adam Aaronson. Adam’s passion for free-blown glass, an unpredictable and seductive artistic medium, remains undimmed after almost 40 years.
Adam adds a modern twist to classic methods, from his studio in Surrey, where he also runs glassblowing courses for beginners. He has exhibited all over the world and has been commissioned to make work for the Royal Academy of Arts in London, Italy’s venerable Salviati Glass Studio, the Museum of Art and Design in New York and The British Museum, among others. Find out more about Adam and his work on his website: www.adamaaronson.com
On the eve of Surrey Artists Open Studios, join us to hear Adam speak about his career highlights and for drinks and canapés afterwards.
