The aim of the course is to introduce basic phrases for use on holiday. You will learn to greet people with confidence; order drinks and food in a bar or restaurant; ask for tourist information, including simple directions. Sessions are lively and varied; pair and group work and discussion in the taught language to maximise exposure to, and use of the language you are learning. The emphasis will be on listening, speaking and understanding.
The course is for absolute beginners with no previous knowledge of the language.
A course book will be followed and supplemented by other resources.
