In early 19th century Britain, landscape painting flowered. Turner and Constable, great watercolourists including Girtin, Cox and Cotman, and Romantics like Palmer produced powerful and original art. The course introduces this exciting period and sets the landscape boom in its historical context.

Please note: Due to the easing of social distancing measures, this face to face course has a capacity of 20 attendees. This is set at 75% of full capacity to ensure safety for our students and tutors. We will endeavour to increase this number to full capacity in due course.
