WINDOW ON THE WORLD TALK SERIES
Linnaeus is known for devising binomial plant classification, but in this talk the emphasis will be on the man as a traveller, a teacher and, most importantly, a gardener.
Over 3,000 plant species were grown at his garden in Uppsala, while his summer retreat, Hammarby, with his small ‘museum in the air’, reflected his fascination with the natural world.
