Go to all CoursesOverview
This course will appeal to both experienced writers and beginners; learn how to create and develop characters in stories, novels and memoirs. There are often also characters portrayed in poetry. We will look at excerpts from established writers. What is it about them that makes the characters alive? We will have writing projects with feedback in a friendly and constructive setting and discussion of many aspects of creative writing skills. Optionally, bring work in progress.
Bring paper and pen and, optionally, some work in progress for discussion.
There will be a 1-hour break for lunch.
