This course is to help you develop your creative writing ability. All forms are covered including novels, plays, poems, short stories, memoirs and feature articles. There will be reading and discussion of your work in a friendly and constructive setting. We will discuss many aspects of writing, such as getting started, shaping short stories, creating characters, writing modern poetry and guidelines on getting published, as well as some writing projects in class.

For the first session, please bring a pen and paper and, optionally, work in progress for discussion.

Beginners are welcome.

Creative Writing Workshop 2 (Online) is the continuation of Creative Writing Workshop 1 (Online), however they can be attended as separate courses.
