Often interviewed on TV, radio and in the national
press, Charles Brooking is the founder of the Brooking
National Collection. He was a Senior Lecturer in
Architectural detail at the University of Greenwich for
24 years and is a widely-recognised consultant in his
field.

Using thousands of carefully-selected artefacts
recovered from buildings that faced demolition or
alteration, the Brooking Collection charts the evolution
of Britain’s constructional elements over the last 500
years. Charles will discuss the work of the Brooking
Collection with a focus on the Guildford area.

Free for members & non-members. Booking essential.
