Celebrate the bicentenary year of the pioneer of modern nursing, with a walking tour and visit to the Florence Nightingale Museum. Join a Blue Badge Guide and discover Nightingale’s London as you walk in the footsteps of the world’s most famous nurse. The 2.5 hour tour will reveal aspects of the incredible life she led, through the places in which she lived and worked.

The tour will conclude at the Florence Nightingale Museum, where you will then have the opportunity to view the Museum’s collection of almost 3000 artefacts relating to her life and work, including a unique collection of personal items. Marking the 200 year anniversary of her birth will be the special exhibition, Florence Nightingale: Leader, Icon, Pioneer, documenting the legacy created by the Lady with the Lamp.

Please note: the tour will be conducted at a reasonable walking pace and is not recommended for individuals with impaired mobility.
