Speaker: Dr Colin Summerhayes

Established in 1993, the Guildford Environmental Forum is a voluntary group working to make Guildford a greener and more sustainable place. The Forum wishes to work with Guildford Borough Council and the local community to reduce our contribution to the problem of carbon emissions and to increase our resilience to the changes underway. This talk is intended to open up a discussion to get the views of individuals on what can and should be done.

Colin Summerhayes is an Emeritus Associate at Cambridge University’s Scott Polar Research Institute. In 2015 he published a book entitled Earth’s Climate
