The first week’s focus will be the film Va dove ti porta il cuore (1996, dir. Critstina Comencini), based on the book by Susanna Tamaro. Our analysis will be based on the film, with occasional references to the book.
The second week will focus on the novel Senza Sangue by Alessandro Barricco. We will accompany the linguistic analysis with an introduction to the author. Extracts from the novel will be discussed during the session.
Reading the books in advance is advisable but not essential.

Vittoria has taught Italian for Adult Education Colleges in the past but in the South London area. She currently teaches Italian for GCSE and A Level to bilingual students, Italian to Adults, as well as Italian for Business.
