Classified as ‘metaphysical’, John Donne’s poetry is noted for its unusual use of imagery and language. Donne (1572 -1631) wrote about life, love, death and spiritually. In this two-week course we will look at a selection of his poetry. Discussion will be encouraged.
Copies of the poems will be provided.
