John Donne is known for his love poetry and his use of unusual imagery.  He also lived locally. This course will look at both his love sonnets and his divine poems. We will discuss his innovative use of language and enjoy the beauty of some superb poetry.

A list of poems will be sent to students before the beginning of the course.

Materials will be provided, but the tutor will follow the book John Donne, Selected Poems (Penguin Classics).

Please note the delivery of the course may change to face to face depending on circumstances nearer the time. Any changes will be communicated directly to all students.
