Due to unforeseen circumstances, this course will now be held 2pm – 5pm on Tuesday 5 December.
On 2nd March 1969 a new shape took to the skies – the superbly elegant Concorde – an aircraft seemingly effortlessly able to carry around 100 passengers in safety and comfort at speeds above Mach 2. Just a generation earlier, the “sound barrier” was proving to be lethal. How did the British and French design engineers achieve the seemingly impossible?
