In the last hundred years, some artists have adapted traditional styles to address Christian themes, including Annigoni, Dali and Mark Wallinger. Others such as Stanley Spencer, Graham Sutherland, Henry Moore, Craigie Aitchison and Antony Gormley have used modern idioms for Christian subjects or art in churches. Some express personal faith, while others show none. Explore the art and the issues around it in this short course.
