Overview

“I have nothing to declare except my genius.” – Oscar Wilde. It’s 170 years since the birth of this self-declared genius.  Wilde wrote poetry, plays, essays and was a spokesman for the late 19th-century aesthetic movement in England.  We will look at a selection of his work and examine the values of the Aesthetic Movement.
