Parham House and Gardens, Pulborough (V089)
9 July 2020 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm BST
Coach departs Guildford North Street at 9.30am and Parham House at 3pm.
Set within an ancient deer park below the South Downs, Parham is one of the country’s finest Elizabethan houses. Our visit will begin with a 90-minute private guided tour of the house. Led by an expert guide, you will discover a rare and precious collection of paintings, furniture and needlework. It could be argued that Parham is home to the finest and most important collection of 17th century embroidery in the country.
After exploring the house you will have plenty of time to enjoy lunch in the Big Kitchen restaurant. The restaurant reflects the seasonal produce grown in the estate’s gardens and serves a range of freshly prepared food. The afternoon can then be spent admiring Parham’s spectacular and award-winning gardens.
V Café at The Guildford Institute provides a friendly catering service using high quality, fresh, vegetarian and vegan ingredients.
The perfect way to give a treat to someone special who takes real pleasure in learning new things and taking part in great activities.
