Overview
Coach visit
Parham is one of the country’s finest Elizabethan houses, set at the foot of the South Downs in West Sussex. Changed little over the centuries, it has remained a family home. Granted by King Henry VIII to Robert Palmer of Henfield in 1577.
Enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival before a 90-minute private, guided tour of the house. Hear about the 30 evacuee children and many Canadian soldiers who stayed during the Second World War and see the Pearson family’s 40 year collection of furniture, paintings, books, textiles and clocks. You can then enjoy free time to explore the gardens and a visit to the onsite café.
