We are pleased to be joined by Neville Lyons who will be repeating the over-subscribed talk he gave here during Autumn 2017. Neville’s career as an army officer led to his interest in military history.

Neville will dip into the coverage of the war by many of the well-known artists on the Home Front and overseas theatres, as well as at sea and in the air. There will be copious illustrations of their work, with information
and anecdotes about the artists and how the whole War Artists project was organised and managed under the driving force of the great Sir Kenneth Clark.

Please note: it is not possible to book this talk via our website. If you would like to book a place, please contact the Institute on 01483 451034.
