Gardens are now recognised as important havens for wildlife, which can be accommodated among the flowers and other cultivated plants without turning your garden into a weed-filled wilderness. This talk will look at different habitats that can be found in gardens and how a garden can be enhanced to benefit wildlife.

Andrew Halstead was the Royal Horticultural Society’s Entomologist, based at Wisley Garden. He has more than 40 years’ experience of identifying and giving advice on garden wildlife, including plant pests and their management.

Please note: it is not possible to book this talk via our website. If you would like to book a place, please contact the Institute on 01483 562142.
