Overview

This course will provide a basic survey of Surrey’s past through its archaeological investigations.

The content will be broken down chronologically and cover activity from the early Palaeolithic to the end of the medieval era, c. 1540.
We will look at case studies and address general themes including religion, industry and domestic life.
