Webster’s Jacobean Tragedy The Duchess of Malfi is based on true historical events. Written in 1612 and reflecting the discontent towards the English court, it is a macabre and tragic, yet compelling play. We will read and explore the play together in a supportive atmosphere. This will open up opportunities for discussion and sharing ideas. Please bring a copy of the play with you.
