The ice giants, Uranus and Neptune, were the first major planets to be discovered in the telescopic age.
In this session, we will examine the history of the hunt for these planets and review the discoveries made by the outstanding Voyager 2 space mission, which has provided our closest view so far of these intriguing, cold and remote worlds.
