The Strangest Christmases in History – GI 21 105 (Face to Face and Online)
10 December 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm GMT
Tutor: Lorraine Spindler BA (Hons) Dip Euro HumGo to all Courses
Why was Agatha Christie on the run in December 1926? The Christmas season was not great for Van Gogh or Henry III; but why do some, like Shackleton, choose to be away from home at Christmas? Together we will laugh and shed a tear at the many ways past Christmases have been spent. You will have a chance to vote on which you consider to be the strangest Christmas ever experienced.
Please note: Due to the easing of social distancing measures, this face to face course has a capacity of 15 attendees. This is set at 75% of full capacity to ensure safety for our students and tutors. We will endeavour to increase this number to full capacity in due course.
