DESCRIPTION:During the 10th and 11th Centuries\, Cordoba was the greatest city in Europe\, a centre for education\, culture and science with a population of 100\,000 and hundreds of mosques and libraries. It was also a meeting point for the three great European religions and the centre of international diplomacy. \nThis talk will look at this great city and its legacy – and its most famous building\, the mosque/Cathedral The Mezquita. \nWe’re delighted to offer our afternoon talks on a Pay What You Can basis. We believe everyone should have access to educational and cultural opportunities\, and that no one should be excluded because of their financial circumstances.
