DESCRIPTION:Charles Robert Darwin was an English naturalist\, geologist\, and biologist\, widely known for his contributions to evolutionary biology. Discover how his voyage on the HMS Beagle\, and a stop in the Galapagos\, led to the publishing\, many years later\, of his famous book\, ‘On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection’. \nAngela will take you through the life story of this amazing man and show how his ideas really shocked Victorian England in the 1830s. \nWe’re delighted to offer our afternoon talks on a Pay What You Can basis. We believe everyone should have access to educational and cultural opportunities\, and that no one should be excluded because of their financial circumstances.
