SUMMARY:Guildford Arts Exhibition – Marilyn Cudmore and Robyn Horsburgh
DESCRIPTION:Guildford Institute and Guildford Arts\, in collaboration with Guildford Festival of the Arts\, are pleased to present their next exhibition from talented artists Marilyn Cudmore and Robyn Horsburgh.  Join us for a Private View with talks from both artists on Thursday 6 August\, 6.30pm – 8pm. \nMarilyn Cudmore \nThe main focus for her work is the landscape\, loving the textures\, colours and shapes that nature displays.  This small island provides a diverse range of countryside\, from the rolling Surrey Hills\, the dramatic ‘Edges’ of Derbyshire\, the West country and beyond.  She uses a variety of mixed media such as acrylic paint\, watercolours\, pencils and pastels\, to create her impression of landscape which is transient and therefore any artist’ response to it is momentary\, and individual\, therefore her work serves to represent her ongoing relationship with the various areas of countryside that has\, and continues to inspire her. \n \nRobyn Horsburgh \nRobyn studied at the Academia in Florence and has widely exhibited in France and Ireland.  Her work is influenced by Georgia O’Keefe.  She has painted Murals at Knebworth House\, Chailey Heritage\, Sunningdale Golf Club and has had numerous private commissions.
