Course Participant

Landscapes have always evoked strong feelings in painters. Samuel Palmer found spiritual meaning in nature, John Constable painted his powerful feelings for the Suffolk landscape and Emily Carr immersed herself in her love of trees in Canada. In this course, we will study all three painters and how each produced very different styles to convey their personal feelings for landscape.
