Over the past few decades there has been an explosion in chronic ill-health globally. Evidence shows that physical activity across the life course can help prevent and manage many conditions, particularly as we age. We will look at some of this evidence and review the bio-physiology of how being more active is protective and why being sedentary is harmful, with some tips and ideas of how we can move more.
