In this visit to the National Portrait Gallery, explore a range of modern British portraiture from the Edwardians to the vibrant portrait scene of the present day. Artists will include (dependant on displays) Sargent, Camden Town Group Artists, Duncan Grant and the Bloomsbury Group, Patrick Heron, Gerald Kelly and others. We will also examine the relationship between modern photography and painting in portraiture.
