Course Participant

This course will give an insight into the female artists who have contributed so much to the Surrealist movement, as well as the love, friendship and rivalry of these artists beside the men in Surrealism. We will study works by stars such as Lee Miller, Frida Kahlo, Eileen Agar, Meret Oppenheim, Dorothea Tanning and Leonora Carrington and more. This course coincides with the preparation for a major exhibition of Dorothea Tanning's work in the Tate Modern.
