This course will consider characters featured in murder mysteries by well-known authors including both detectives and their suspects. How does the portrayal of these characters change the shape of the story?

Characters should feel well rounded; with their personalities influencing the reader and their views of the character. We will look at how to bring these characters to life while still maintaining suspense.
