Western philosophy begins with the Ancient Greeks in the 6th c. BCE. This course considers key elements in the thought of some of the philosophers of this period.
To begin, we will consider some of the very first philosophers, the pre-Socratics. We will then look at some of the key elements in the school of thought of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle.
