You are invited to our Festive Ballroom Dancing Workshop!
The aim of this workshop is to discover the joy of dancing and music, to have fun and prepare ourselves for the festive feel of the Christmas season. We will explore two beautiful dances, the smooth and elegant Foxtrot, and the playful and rhythmical Swing. Experienced tutor, Eszter Ocsovszki, will gently guide you through the fundamental moves. The workshop will begin with a mindful warm-up, followed by the historic background and the basic techniques and steps of Foxtrot and then Swing, with a ten minutes break inbetween. We’ll finish with a short recap and a relaxing cool-down.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those returning to dance, no experience necessary, no partner necessary (capacity: 16 students). Students are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes, dancing shoes if you have or you may like to dance barefoot or with socks.
