Organised by Guildford Jazz
Former winner of the ‘Young Scottish Musician of the Year’ and a member of the Humphrey Lyttelton band, Jo Fooks is a wonderful tenor saxophonist whose mellow tone is often compared to Stan Getz and Zoot Simms.
Jo is joined by the fabulous hard-swinging pianist John Pearce, who’s career has taken him all over the world playing with such jazz royalty as Anita O’Day, Peggy Lee, Mark Murphy, Dick Morrisey, Art Farmer, Woody Shaw, Warren Vache, Ronnie Scott… the list is endless! Guildford Jazz anchor Marianne Windham completes the lineup on double bass.
Lunchtime jazz is held in V Café, which boasts a baby grand piano as well as delicious vegetarian food.
Food is served from 12 to 2pm, followed by live jazz performance from 2pm to 3pm
Tickets £12 (£10 for members) can be bought directly from Guildford Jazz: guildfordjazz.org.uk/listings/lunchtime-jazz-apr-2026
