Organised by Guildford Jazz

Guildford Jazz founder and winner of the Services to Jazz Award in the 2025 Parliamentary Jazz Awards, Marianne Windham, presents an hour of music which explores the role of the double bass in the history of jazz, and the bass players who have influenced her musical journey. Marianne is joined by Steve Lodder, one of the UK’s top jazz pianists, and Martin Pyne on drums.

Lunchtime jazz is held in V Café, which boasts a baby grand piano as well as delicious vegetarian food.

Food is served from 12 to 2pm, followed by live jazz performance from 2pm to 3pm
