Overview

The Secret Life of Tea Rooms

Join us for tea, coffee and cake in The Guildford Institute’s historic library. Enjoy meeting other Institute members in a social setting and hear from our library volunteers about the treasures of the Library’s archive.

This time we will take a look at the history of the tea room and its role in female emancipation and in uniting women from across the social spectrum.
