Join Duncan Wade for this course that will be ‘a little bit about all sorts of things.’ It is a great opportunity to find out more about taking pictures and the tools we use to do it.
We will learn a little, try a little, and meet with other like-minded folk who are interested in the fundamentals of photography.
Across the evening, we will look at:
- The history of photography
- Why, what, when, where
- Why do we want to capture an image?
- What sort of picture is it?
- When and where are we doing this?
- A good photograph: Composition, focus and exposure
- How
- Different Tools and shared technical aspects
- Things you can control: Exposure, focus, grain, blur
- In the end what are you hoping you will have in your hands?
- Some things matter more than others, your guide to thinking like a photographer
- Compose: see the picture.
- Prepare: Managing the light and exposure.
- Capture: Take the picture and get the result that YOU want.
