GI Music Lounge

Having picked up his first guitar at the age of six, Will McNicol has grown into one of the UK’s most respected contemporary acoustic guitarists. He was named Guitarist Magazine’s UK Acoustic Guitarist of the Year (2011), featured in Acoustic Guitar Magazine’s “30 Great Guitarists Under 30 from Around the World” (2014), and described by Guitar World as “one of the best acoustic players on the planet right now” (2021).

He has toured internationally, appearing at major festivals and supporting artists including Antonio Forcione, Pierre Bensusan, Jon Gomm, and Martin Simpson. Will’s performances have been described as “too good to miss” with his cinematic fingerstyle compositions unfolding like short films without words.
