On arrival enjoy tea, coffee and a biscuit in the Cathedral Refectory before joining an optional private, 60-minute walking tour of the lower city including the Abbey Gardens, City Mill, River Itchen, Wolvesey Castle, Winchester College and Jane Austen’s house. Then wander by the German style wooden chalets in the historic Cathedral setting with a cup of mulled wine to warm you and grab some early Christmas gifts while taking in the atmosphere. Then have free time to enjoy food, drink, shopping or some of the tourist sites the city has to offer
