    Meet Vicky, our Finance Officer, She's about to ta Meet Vicky, our Finance Officer, She's about to take the plunge!! 😱 If you know Vicky, you'll know she's happiest behind the scenes- keeping everything running smoothly, balancing the numbers and making sure the spreadsheets are in order at The GI. So, seeing her prepare to abseil 100 metres down the Spinnaker Tower is a bit of a surprise... especially to Vicky!!! 😉 On 6 September, she'll be taking on this incredible challenge to raise funds for The Guildford Institute- stepping well outside her comfort zone for a cause she cares deeply about. Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing Vicky's journey as she counts down to the big day , from the preparation and nerves to the moment she takes the leap. 💙 Please show Vicky some love in the comments. In this reel, one of our attendees talks about how The GI has helped them feel less isolated, become part of a community, meet new people, and feel truly connected. That’s what makes our charity so special- it’s not just about the activities we offer, it’s about the people who walk through our doors and the friendships, confidence, and sense of belonging that grow from being part of our community. Yesterday, we welcomed one of our new volunteers to capture the everyday moments that make The GI so special, and we're excited to welcome another later this week. We also received a generous offer of photography support for our Music Lounge events, which we're so grateful for. Authentic, people-centred photography helps us tell the story of The GI, celebrate our amazing community, and share the impact of what we do. It also means we can build a library of beautiful images to use across our social media, website, newsletters and more. To everyone who has offered their time, talent and generosity, thank you!
