Ann Fearey
General Admin Volunteer
Profile
Before Ann retired, she worked in Kent for an Educational Trust arranging an annual programme of arts events, including exhibitions, visits to galleries both in the UK and abroad, lectures, young musicians’ recitals, a literature festival, a week-long Fun Festival for Children and many fund raising events.
Having retired and moved to Guildford, Ann now enjoys sitting back and attending the varied and interesting talks held at The Guildford Institute, and other arts organisations in the area.
Ann also enjoys spending time with a group of local walkers exploring the beautiful countryside, supporting The National Trust, meeting up with friends in London and Kent and making an annual visit to Devon for the 10-day Ways with Words Festival. She says she is blessed with four grandchildren who keep her busy!
After first becoming a member, Ann decided that she wanted to further support the work of The Institute by joining the team of volunteers. Ann thoroughly enjoys meeting and greeting the many interesting people who visit The Institute.
