Tammy Ellis

Profile

Tammy retired at the end of 2024 from teaching Art History and French at the GI for an incredible 17 years. Languages are an important part of Tammy's life but her main passion is Art History. Her interests lie in 19th, 20th and 21st century art and her aim has always been to make art accessible and 'food for the soul'. She has also been involved in art tours to France, Ireland and Liverpool, and has given guided visits of Tate Britain. Tammy has three wonderful children, three gorgeous grandchildren, one dog, and two donkeys - they all keep her very busy! When she does have a moment's peace, she loves to bake and read books for her book club.
