Guildford Institute and Guildford Arts, in collaboration with Guildford Festival of the Arts, are pleased to present their next exhibition from talented artists Geoffrey Pimlott and Hannah Walker.  Join us for a Private View with talks from both artists on Thursday 3 September, 6.30pm – 8pm.

GEOFFREY PIMLOTT (Hon Ret RWS)

Eric Waugh, an early Pop Artist painter influenced Geoffrey and his hard edge style grew from his influence and developed his interest in composing hard edge work, where certain shapes in composition where to be the darkest tone, and through water colour painting worked from the lightest and through the darkest tone in the composition.

HANNAH WALKER

Hannah has dedicated herself to exploring varied mediums, capturing the high-energy intersection of urban environments and the natural world.

Deeply inspired by her global travels, her portfolio is an energetic celebration of the world’s textures—from intricate abstraction of natural formations, vast landscapes, seascapes and flora and fauna. Her art invites viewers to see the world through a lens of movement, colour, and curiosity.
