Successful interiors rely on superb finishes and colours, that fit your budget and emulate your personal style. The morning lecture will look at fabrics, wallcoverings, paint, and furniture establishing how simple ideas, mixed with unique statements, can create a winning formula. The afternoon workshop will allow you to build a scheme and give you confidence in your ideas.
A materials list will be provided. Students should come prepared with samples and magazines.

About the Speaker
Debby Thurston
An Honours graduate of KLC College of Interior Design and with an MSc in Construction Refurbishment Management from UCL, professional interior designer Debby has over 30 years of experience. She has a diverse portfolio of work, covering all types of projects - from hotels to listed buildings - with expertise in project management. Through her teaching, Debby aims to help everybody benefit from understanding the fundamentals of interior design and get to know the process of renovating or refurbishing. Debby has previously delivered courses for KLC College of Interior Design, as well as one-off lectures and day workshops.
Debby is also a former competitive ballroom dancer, previously ranked 8th in the UK with her husband.
