Coach Visit
Discover one of England’s finest historic houses, set in the heart of the Kent countryside. Steeped in over 650 years of history, this magnificent estate offers visitors the chance to explore grand medieval halls, beautifully maintained gardens, and picturesque parkland. Once a hunting Lodge for Henry VII, Penshurst Place has been home to the Sidney family since 1552.
Open exclusively to visitors from the Guildford Institute, you will be treated to tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, followed by a guided tour of the house. Please note there are 28 steps to access the house. A hot lunch of lasagne (meat or vegetarian) and additional hot drinks are included in the cost of the visit. The afternoon will include a garden tour and time to explore the toy museum and gift shop.
