Talk by Frank Woodgate

Founded in 1897, Tate Britain was established to celebrate and preserve British art and today remains one of the nation’s leading cultural institutions.

Frank has been a Lecturer and Guide at Tate Britain and Tate Modern since 2000. He will bring his vast knowledge to look at the wonderful works at Tate Britain. From the earliest painting dating from 1545 to the most recent works including the biennial Turner prize displays as well as other exciting manifestations of late-20th and early-21st century British art.

We’re delighted to offer our afternoon talks on a Pay What You Can basis. We believe everyone should have access to educational and cultural opportunities, and that no one should be excluded because of their financial circumstances. Our talks are £7 for all – if anyone feels they need to pay less than this, please call the team or visit us in person.
