Overview

For many The Tempest was not only Shakespeare’s last play but his best. This year Kenneth Branagh plays Prospero in the RSC production – how will his performance be rated?

In this course we will discuss the play’s themes and characters. But mostly we will wonder at Shakespeare’s genius.

Please bring along a copy of the play.
